SVP and GM of the P97 Payments Platform, which is a payments orchestration middleware construct, deployed at over 50% of the US gas stations, combining an acquiring gateway with technologies such as fraud engines, tokenization, geo-fencing, reward networks and fuel dispensers. Areas I am directly responsible for include payments via acquiring partners and direct integrations, our advanced fraud offerings, and our subscriptions platform.

Figure Payments Corporation(aka FPC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Figure Technology, Inc. FPC is a FinCEN registered Money Services Business with MTLs(money transmitter licenses) across the USA. We offered banking and payment products, built both on top of Provenance, a Figure created financial services industry blockchain, as well as a trad-fi core system. In late 2022, Figure Pay pivoted from DTC products and began providing the Figure Pay infrastructure as a Banking as a Service(BaaS) platform. This allowed other companies to leverage our custom-built core, our Visa-certified issuer processing stack, a card program management offering, and our operational infrastructure. Earlier in its lifecycle, the platform supported a USDF tokenized deposits(stablecoin) API, a DTC neo-bank product, and real-time, closed-loop payment use cases.

During my last few years at SoFi, I conceived, managed, and built SoFi's consumer deposit and spending product, SoFi Money, a high interest, mobile first, cash management account that is a hybrid checking/savings account. The product is offered by SoFi Securities, SoFi's broker/dealer.Areas under my responsibility included business unit management, product vision and development, partner bank relationship development, tier 1 vendor management, interfacing with regulators such as the FDIC and FINRA, and the integration of Zenbanx, a company SoFi acquired in early 2017. SoFI Money went live in fall of 2018. Additionally, I held a Series 7 license through SoFI Securities, LLC.

As Head of Product Development, I was responsible for defining, leading, and delivering new & strategic fintech products & business models to our members. My focus was leading the development of the lending products(personal loan, student loan and mortgage). I am a certified loan geek and enjoyed my role in building the loan business during this period. During my time at SoFi, our originations grew from $10M/month to over a billion dollars a month of loan originations across these three products.

During my last two years at Visa I focused on mobile processing in emerging markets. I was the Product Manager for VMMS (Visa Mobile Managed Service), a turnkey mobile issuer processing platform marketed to banks in emerging markets. The product was deployed in both Africa and India. Working across many groups within Visa, I drove the mobile processing platform definition and development, as well as assisting with business development and the ongoing operations of the platform. I worked daily with the staff of Fundamo, a South African based mobile technology firm Visa acquired in 2011. Prior to this, I was managing a portfolio of applications which belong to Visa's Commercial Card business unit. My main focus was on delivering product to the major commercial card issuing banks in North America. I drove complex application development efforts including Visa's first iOS / iPad application, corporate card applications, business intelligence & analytics, sales force automation tools, and the complex integration of numerous legacy applications.Originally a consultant at Visa(2004 to 2009), my role was serving in a technical product management role within the product group responsible for VROL (Visa Resolve Online). VROL was Visa's dispute and exception management system, used by the majority of banks around the world with 50,000 users. I primarily worked with the large US banks (Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Chase, acquirers, etc.) and processors (First Data, Fiserv, FIS, etc.) serving as their consultant and advocate, ultimately bringing this valuable customer feedback to Visa in terms of application design and operational enhancements.

Business development executive within the Technology and Communications vertical practice. I closed business for Verizon Wireless and Cisco, and sold primarily high end application development and user experience consulting.

I founded and managed a 100 person European eBusiness technology consulting company in London UK, while working for Xpedior(NASDAQ:XPDR), an eBusiness integrator. I was given complete autonomy in running the European business unit.Grew a one person(me) London based operation to a highly profitable 100-person consulting business with $20MM annual run rate in two years while maintaining an EBITDA of over 25% and zero debt. The company was profitable in 30 days after launch.Established offices in London, Amsterdam and Munich. Spearheaded an aggressive acquisition strategy and built sales and marketing, delivery, recruiting and administrative organizations.Sold, architected, and was accountable for multi-million dollar eBusiness engagements to clients such as Hewlett Packard, Asda (Walmart UK), British Telecom, among others. Drove successful cash sale of European unit to Arthur Andersen after returning to the USA to run Xpedior's western region. The business became Arthur Andersen Digital Solutions, London.Managed a 400 person P&L during my final year with the company(Western USA), based in San Francisco.Early in my career at Xpedior I managed our eCommerce practice from San Francisco, which grew from nothing to a $50MM / 25% of revenue business unit. Our strategy was largely to partner with BroadVision to serve as their integration partner.

Manager Communications Industry Group - Highly utilized consultant to communications industry clients including Pacific Bell, US West, MCI and Bell Atlantic. Work included billing, CRM, and network provisioning systems development as well as new client business development. Much of my work involved leveraging the BPP billing systems originally developed for Pacific Bell, which was resold and redeployed globally.
