Oversee the operation of server systems including researching, selecting, and relocating all critical computer operations to a colocation to develop a true data center with full redundant systems. Identify security vulnerabilities and eliminate them with strategic solutions that increase data safety. Direct and support implementation of all system software and hardware upgrades internally and related to EMR. Identify and recommend new technology solutions that we can implement across the practice and in our department including thin client additions to exam rooms, implementing a patient wireless network, working with vendors to strengthen WAN topology, supporting doctors by introducing a dictation software system, and creating a solution to allow physicians access to the EMR system remotely to increase productivity
