I am an educational technology professional comfortable in a variety of contexts: web development and design; digital fabrication, scanning and personal manufacturing; and data mining and visualization. Throughout these contexts I aim to build platforms for expression and investigation by students and faculty. While pursuing these goals I have become acquainted with a wide variety of technologies. As a web developer I have worked with a variety of technology stacks: Windows, Mac, and Linux; Apache and IIS; MySQL/MariaDB and MongoDB; PHP, Ruby, Javascript, ASP, and Python. I have also had occasional experience with ColdFusion, Tomcat, and Solr search applications. Beyond the web, I have worked with digital fabrication processes including 3DP and FDM rapid prototyping, laser cutting, CNC machining and a variety of scanning platforms. As a creative outlet I have developed projects with R, Processing, Lego Mindstorms, and d3.js.
