Support security governance activities such as risk management, policy/standards, and compliance.Responsibilities:- Perform monitoring and analysis of logs, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, FW, Office 365 and other security and network technologies for threats.- Provide technical expertise and guidance for security tools that control and monitor information security.- Perform scans of network-attached systems to ensure compliance with policies and security standards.- Monitor internal control systems to ensure appropriate information access levels and security clearances are maintained.- Proactively conduct security threat and impact assessments as input to the overall information security strategy.- Assist with monthly security risk assessment meetings with the IT Operations team.- Monitor, track, and address vulnerabilities identified in Brightree networks and applications.- Assist with the delivery of Brightree’s security awareness programs and the associated training.- Monitor the security infrastructure for policy violations or security events, assists with resolution of escalated incidents and participates in problem management activities.- Conduct hardware/software audits of Brightree systems for compliance with established standards, policies, procedures and configuration guidelines.- Perform vendor security audits on potential systems/services which Brightree is looking to use to ensure the solution is securely based on its intended purpose.- Provide security support to other SaaS business units as needed.
