1 Month Summer Placement Characterising 3D Printed parts.Undertook initial literature reviewSmall study into how the print parameters affect the tensile strenth of 3d printed samples and change the failure mode of the samples.Samples were imaged using high depth of field optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy(SEM).

Provided Support and research development to the Swansea University Immersive Media Observatory (IMO) promoting the use of VR, AR and other immersive technologies in teaching.Provided tours and demos to university teaching staff to show the value of VR as a learning tool.Helped to develop VR applications using the Unity3D engine.Researched the use of redirected walking and other techniques to allow a larger virtual world to be achieved while staying withing a smaller physical space.wrote blog posts (exploring new programs and video tutorials)
