*Support the Manufacturing and Integration phase of asix story Payload Access Stand in an accelerated schedule by providing as needed modification analysis and engineering oversight support on a rotational basis.*Develop a procedure for Platform Operations on thePayload Access Stand. *Responsible System Engineer for the night operations crew including 4 technicians and 1 inspector during Payload Support Mechanism (PSM) Installation, Alignment, and Proofload Operations. *Provide structural engineering support to all facilities included in the Payload Launch Site Support & Services (PLSSS) Program contract.*Provide Responsible System Engineer Support for bridgecranes in a clean room environment. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual maintenance tasks for bridge cranes.*Inspect each facility and recommend a course of action when repairs are required. Set up work and purchase orders for personnel and materials and communicate priority to management, and follow the work orders through to completion.

* Provide stress analysis, detailed part sizing, and strength assessment forprimary and secondary structure and systems installations ofmetal and composite parts using classical hand analysis methods and finite elementanalysis (FEA) models. * Provide fatigue and crack growth analysis for the fracture critical parts usinghand analysis methods and AFGROW (Air Force developedcrack growth program).

* Support the Airborne Laser program in the Integration and Test phase. * Sized tubing for a clean room system used for laser hardware by supplying pressure drop criteria to the contractors buildingthe system. * Identify and negotiate useful space on the aircraft for clean rooms and laser hardware equipment. * Develop and present procedures for Laser Hardware installation into theaircraft. * Negotiate planned hardware installation procedures with management * Coordinate between Boeing and Lockheed to assure the procedures are viable.

* Support software directive in the incorporation of Internal Operating Review metricsfor all programs developing software.* Provide senior Software Management status reports in the collection and implementationof the internal operation review metrics.* Provide technical guidance to all programs collecting and reporting Internal OperatingReview Metrics.* Work with each program to develop a transition plan for providing monthly metrics inaccordance with command media. * Coordinate between Sunnyvale and Denver to develop aplan for common collecting methods of software metrics. * Brief status of metrics monthly at the SoftwareEngineering Process Group Review.
