I hold Bachelors of Education and a range of postgraduate certificates, with a notable certification in Project Planning and Management obtained from the Liberia Institute of Public Administration (LIPA).I am an emerging young African leader and a member of the International Leadership Association (ILA) with a decade of dynamic experience within Liberia's education industry. My journey commenced with five impactful years in the classrooms of Monrovia, where I contributed to the success of top-notch quality-focused private schools.In 2017, I embarked on a groundbreaking chapter, joining Rising Academy Network. My tenure began with leading the innovative government partnership (LEAP), now extending to a 5-year USAID Systems Strengthening Activities Project. I have also played a lead role in securing some of the strongest academic outcomes for an education program in Liberia’s post-war history. These results were demonstrated most notably in the 3-year randomized control trial delivered by the Centre for Global Development, which showed that children in Rising’s schools learned more than twice as fast as children in comparable schools. My ability to drive transformative initiatives within the Liberian education landscape quickly propelled me through four role changes at Rising, culminating in my appointment as Rising’s Program Manager in Liberia.Under my strategic leadership, Rising's work has transcended boundaries, now serving 95 rural government schools and impacting the lives of more than 21,000 students. I have an excellent understanding of education delivery in Liberia, including West and East Africa.In 2023, my exceptional contributions were recognized globally as I secured a highly prestigious placement in the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders. I am on the verge to launch a non-profit in the middle of 2024 that will revolutionize education delivery in low-resource settings, further solidifying my commitment to transformative change in the realm of education. My passion extends beyond education; I harbor a deep love for politics. At the start of 2024, this enthusiasm led me to embark on an exciting new chapter as the Chief of Office Staff in the office of Representative Taa Wongbe at the Liberian 55th Legislature. My mission is to leverage my network and experience to support social impact interventions and legislative initiatives that make the biggest difference why representing the voices of thousands of Liberian children who are in school but not learning anything.
