Started Onestop Internet out of garage in January 2003 with Co-Founder. Built first-generation e-commerce engine and infrastructure from line zero of code on C#, .NET, and Microsoft SQL Server. Completely bootstrapped, launched Vondutch.com in April 2003. For the first 8 years of the company, we had no CEO, and the Co-Founders each contributed towards a collaborative and productive team.A year after the successful launch of Vondutch.com, added more and more clients and grew the company over the next 11+ years. Rolled out geo-redundant data center with full replication and fault-tolerance, survived large peak-traffic burst events such as “Oprah’s Favorite Things”.In 2007, launched first mobile web e-commerce site, 7 for all Mankind, using MVC pattern and jQuery, streamlining the purchase funnel.In 2009, launched Onestop’s largest client - Lululemon Athletica and ran the demands of a very high-volume, high-expectation client that tested the platform and the company’s strengths.Also in 2009, successfully completed PCI Level 1 compliance audit.In 2011, recognizing that the 2003 based e-commerce platform was reaching the end of its software lifecycle, switched to the position of “Chief Innovation Officer”, focused to hunker down and re-design the front-end engine using an Open Source CMS platform, Orchard. Moved a mid-size Engineering team to Santa Monica and worked with collaborators around the world to deliver a "New Platform" Onestop services architecture focused on mobile, quick content updates, and performance. Collaborated closely with the Orchard open source committee and was an active participant and contributor to a growing and vibrant open source community. Today, the adaptable, themed new platform has helped cut site creation / launch times down 80%.In 2014, after 11 years of steady growth, 225+ employees, and growing annual revenue, with bitter-sweetness, left the company operationally, and remained as an active Board of Directors member.

Co-founded ememories.com, one of the first in on-line photo sharing, developed ememories web site and designed entire network architecture and infrastructure (Cisco, Microsoft, IBM, Dell, NetApp). ememories.com was ranked as a top 300 trafficked site on the Internet. Grew company from 2 co-founders to 45 employees.Wrote original business plan. Created financial analysis model for determining disk space usage and bandwidth needs. Responsible for site and machine maintenance and performance. Helped grow Scopus from 15 person private company to 400+ person public company.Developed the Scopus Foundation Client, a front-end to Scopus’ Enterprise suite of applications (Sales Force Automation, Defect Tracking, Field Service, etc.) The first version was built using C and the Windows 3.1 SDK, a port of the existing Unix client.Developed 32-bit and 16-bit C++ MFC based Windows client. Scopus was recognized and awarded accommodation from the Microsoft Win32 team for being the first vendor in the Customer Service marketplace to ship a native Win32 application.Delivered first OLE compliant application in Scopus’ market space, including support for Visual Basic scripting, OLE Embedding with In-Place Activation, and many other Office-like features.Invented Scopus’ multi-tier Distributed Component Architecture (DCA).
