Profile bio

About Morrow Deborah

I am pleased to assist the Kentucky Department of Education's Office of Special Education and Early Learning in creating a statewide monitoring system for the fiscal requirements of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). After working for 25 years with the 50 states and the outlying territories across the country, it's a delightful experience to interact with local fiscal managers and directors of special education. Getting in touch with the day-to-day realities of special education "on the ground" is a reminder of the impact that national policies have on children in the classroom and the importance of ensuring that funds provided for their support and education, to "level the educational playing field" do, in fact, end up where they are intended and accomplish what they are intended to do. I'm thrilled to have this opportunity.

Listed skills include Individuals With Disabilities Education Act Fiscal Requirements, Idea Federal Policy Positions, Teaching And Learning Strategies For Special Educators, Meeting Facilitation, and 12 others.
