Together we implemented a responsive vs. reactive funding strategy. We are enhancing our grant funder relations and increasing the overall grants budget while decreasing the number of grants.

- Designed the Microenterprise Program Replication Handbook sponsored by the Northwest Area Foundation.-Provided grants management and strategic planning coordination af the Microenterprise Program. Funding sources included: Northwest Area Foundation, NALCAB, USDA FMPP, USDA RMA and the Paul Allen Foundation.

Funding sources obtained include: Socially Disadvantaged Farmer and Rancher Grant, Community Foods Project, Farm Aid, CCHD, Northwest Health Foundation, and USDA Specialty Crops Grant Program.-Administrated the Individual Development Accounts Savings Program.-Developed and implemented the Needs Assessment Survey for Latino Immigrant Farmers and outreached to farmers about organic practices. -Maintained a database of Latino farmers and land available for lease in surrounding counties.-Provided technical assistance and marketing support for participant farmers.

-Created a private grants portfolio and strategy for Community Action as they look to broaden their overall funding strategy.

Developed a fundraising strategy for Ecochallenge.org and wrote proposals exceeding $450,000 fundraising target.
