About Morten Brørup

Since high school, I have had my own spare time business. It started as an import company and later turned into a software development and consulting company, with customers ranging from small high-tech startups to large labor unions.During my university studies, I developed my first successful electronic product with a friend at DTU. (We sold a couple of hundred units with a good profit margin.)My professional career revolves around software development and international project management.I worked for Thrane & Thrane and Siemens, until I started Digital Audio Innovation I/S to develop an MP3 walkman with hard disk (years before the Apple iPod).Before founding SmartShare Systems, I was the software manager at Vitesse Semiconductor Corporation's Ethernet Products Division, where I worked with product definition and OEM/ODM software projects for Vitesse's gigabit network chips.Specialties: M.Sc.EE from DTU in 1996, specializing in software and telecommunications.
