I Hillerød Kommune arbejder jeg sammen med det specialiserede børne-ungeområde på at sikre, at der er sammenhæng mellem kommunens indsatser og de midler, der bruges på dem. Det betyder f.eks. tilpasning af indsatserne i egne tilbud, forhandling med eksterne tilbud om priser, og organisatoriske tiltag, der gør os bedre i stand til at arbejde med flere fagligheder rundt om familierne, og løfte flere af de unge inden for kommunens egne tilbud.

Working for the Department og Children and Youth, I help organise training and support for over 2000 of the department's users while being responsible for a range of support functions, including a call center and an internal website.

Main function was to support refugees under the age of 18 in their meetings with various Danish authorities (Police, integration authorities, court hearings etc.). As a representative from the Danish Red Cross the task was to provide practical help as well as a sense of security during meetings with ayuthorities that at times would be testing for the refugee. As such, the role was to stand as a security measure between the Danish authorities and the refugee.
