As the country director of Projects Abroad in Fiji, I was responsible for the daily operations of an office of 10 staff members and support for 300+ volunteers annually. The main responsibilities ranged from programme development of various volunteering projects to budgeting, HR related tasks and management to mention a few.

As the deputy director of Projects Abroad in Ghana I assisted the director in various operational tasks for the 6 regional offices. These included health and safety risk assessments, volunteer programme management and various human resource related responsibilities for 40+ staff members.

I was the director of Projects Abroad in Denmark and responsible for the daily operations of our office of 4 people. We promoted 29 destinations with volunteering opportunities in developing regions of the world, advised prospective volunteers and assisted all Danish volunteers while they are part of the program.Main Responsibilities: National planning and budgeting, strategy development, human resources, business development, online and direct marketing, public relations and advising people about volunteering in developing countries.

I planned and performed on site audits of workplaces compliance with social and ethical codes of conduct of multinational corporations, and the respective countries labour law. (Audits were conducted in Lesotho, Swaziland, Egypt, Russia, Poland and Denmark).
