The primary service that Væksthuset provides is individualized mentorships with people that are currently in "ressourceforløb" within the public system in Denmark. I have been amazed at the level of competencies and kindness I have known from the organization and my colleagues.Once again, I could not leave out gaming from my work. I have been amazed at the level of competencies and kindness I have known from the organization and my colleagues.Once again, I could not leave out gaming from my work. I spearheaded and carried out a gaming-project in which we used to skills and competencies that our clients had built up in their gaming-life to strengthen and develop their relationships with their mentors. By using gaming as an enhancer for their confidence, many of our clients were able to show competencies that their mentors and they had never before discussed. At the same time, the mentors got a deeper understanding of gaming as a competency building capacity, giving them new insights into their relationships towards the client. Lastly, the project had a positive effect on the participants socializing with others in the same situation as themselves. Gaming can work wonders in enhancing communities. Show less
