From a solid basis of 6 years of advising and teaching farmers on farm management in a local agricultural advisory center I moved to the Danish National Agricultural Advisory Centre. Here my tasks developed from economic analysis and statistics to more general tasks such as developing and implementing competence development of advisers and advising local advisory center managers on development and management of advisory services. This broad background with increasing responsibility has given me the knowledge and experience to develop new concepts and ideas based on sound judgment with focus on implementing these ideas to the benefit of the end user. I have years of experience in analyzing the skills and competences of advisers, planning competence development and training advisers and preparing training materials on farm management and advising methodology.
