Advised on grant agent selection, procurement and the use of government systems. Raised new external funds with GPE's Education Sector Investment Case. • Nigeria: Supporting the $15.5 million GPE Multiplier in Kaduna State, Nigeria to unlock $47 million of new financing for education from Islamic Development Bank, Education Above All, the Kuwait Fund for Development and Save the Children. As part of the Secretariat’s ‘Team Nigeria’, oversaw development and appraisal of 3 state-level education sector plans, assessment of domestic financing and related pledges at the Global Education Summit 2021. Represented GPE Secretariat at Abuja workshop on Gender-Responsive Education Sector Planning with UNGEI and UNICEF.

• Developed a Youth Participation Plan for a study of adolescent and youth perspectives on how fragility impacts education quality in the CEE/CIS region, in consultation with national project coordinators and UNICEF offices in Tajikistan, Chechnya, Georgia and Kosovo; UNICEF Geneva; and UNICEF Innovation New York.• The Youth Participation Plan was founded in ethics of participation and included an Internet-based advocacy platform; advocacy films; national launch events; community level launches; and an international seminar.

• Administered a global youth exchange program, annually sending 160 volunteers on community projects abroad and hosting 100 volunteers at 10 community projects in Denmark and Greenland.• Developed a portfolio of 10 community projects, including fundraising, liaising with project hosts, supporting camp leaders, PR work, and securing visa and work permits for 100 volunteers annually.• Sent 160 volunteers abroad annually; organized preparation and evaluation seminars; and participated twice annually in technical and evaluation meetings in the Alliance, a network of youth exchange organizations.• Co-initiated a new strategy for a complete restructuring of the youth exchange department, Global Contact.
