As a Equities Associate, I provide customers with a seamless experience with the enquiries or challenges they have while using or looking to use CommSec’s online platform to trade in Australian Securities. My role as an Inbounds Equities Associate involved the following tasks; ▪ Receive inbound customer calls regarding their Equities Accounts, Settlement, Trading limits, Estates Matters, Corporate Action and Conversions e.g. I2C, B2B and OMT.▪ Assisting clients place trades online or over the phone. Educating on market vetting rules and our obligations as a broker to maintain a fair, orderly and transparent market. ▪ Quickly understanding and identifying customers issues and then using my problem solving skills to deliver relevant and effective solutions to create a positive outcome.▪ Educating clients with the mechanics of our products and processes in an efficient manner and articulating complex issues and solutions in simple terms.▪ Work in strict compliance with Banking Code of Practise, internal policies and other statutory regulations, attention to details to ensure that all my work abide by the regulations and performing risk assessments on a case-by-case basis to ensure the services provided is compliant. ▪ Educating new clients to navigate and understand the basics of entering the Australian capital markets and addressing any issues or concerns they may have.
