With a technical background in ICT, I have been one of the founders of the infrastructure modernization of Bank Mellat, introducing newly introduced Modern Electronic Services by then, including ATM machines, Phone Banking, and divisional Local Area Networks. In my capacity as the ICT manager, and later on as the ICT deputy of the CEO, I have coached the realizations of the bank’s WAN (a country-wide mesh network with 2000+ nodes), Critical ICT Infrastructures and Services, and the establishment of a Networking Division and an Electronic Banking Department. I have administered and coached a planned evolutionary growth ICT program for many years to provide qualified resiliency and security in ICT infrastructures and services. Deploying my academic background in IT management (MBA in IT Management), Banking (Bachelor’s Degree in Banking), and DBA alongside my long-run executive positions and experiences, I have developed my technical and managerial skills in enterprise-wide standards, such as ITIL, CCNA, CCNP, Security+, CEH, Risk and COBIT. I have set my mission to develop, adopt and apply innovations in the banking industry, which is continually disrupted by the ever-rising new technologies and business models. To this end, I have been seriously engaged in mentoring and coaching Fintech and Startup companies. I have also played a key role in the preparation of Digital Banking Transformation programs in two banks, namely, Bank Mellat (previously, acting as the ICT deputy of the CEO) and Bank Tejarat (currently, acting as the chairman of the BoDs), and the realizations of the programs thereof.
