Jon’s experience in business continuity began in 1995, following a successful career in IT and moving into disaster recovery.In his business continuity work he embraces both the Business Continuity Institute’s Good Practice Guidelines, the British standard for business continuity, BS25999 and the international standard, ISO22301.He understands the value of formal recognition of business continuity skills and has achieved accreditation through the Business Continuity institute at MBCI.He works closely with the business, and with IT as a service provider, to ensure that his experience across all aspects of business continuity management will result in an appropriate business continuity programme being successfully developed, implemented and exercised across your business.In the past he has experience as a Shadow-Planner administrator and recognises the value of adopting appropriate tools when necessary.Specialties: Gap Analyses against BCI GPG, BS25999 and ISO22301 Defining BC Policy & Strategy; Identifying Critical Processes and requirements to support them (BIA); Identifying BC Risks through an appropriate RA; Identifying appropriate BC Strategies to mitigate risks and protect critical processes; Developing Emergency Response, Incident Management and Crisis Management procedures and teams; Developing, Reviewing and Maintaining BC Plans; BC Exercising; Raising BC Awareness
