About Morton H. Shaevitz, Ph. D., Abpp

After graduating from UCLA with a Ph. D., in Psychology, I held faculty positions at the University of Michigan, and UCSD, and The University of San Diego School of Law.My career has involved significant consulting in the Public and Private Sectors, research and numerous publications and presentations related to gender issues, involvement in health and geriatric psychology issues, and looking at new models of aging.I currently have a private practice in geriatric and medical psychology, and am the Director of MHS Consulting, providing leadership training, consultation and training for companies in the midst of growth and change, and Executive Coaching to CEO's and other senior level executives. In addition, I perform ongoing research in the area of geriatric psychology and have had numerous publications in this area. My latest book, Refire! Don't Retire, will be published in February 2015 by Berrett-Koehler.
