Since May 25, 2018 as a European Data Protection Officer I have been in charge of advising and helping the Firm achieve compliance with the relevant data protection laws (at the national and supranational level). My primary responsibilities include:•informing and advising the Firm and its employees of their obligations pursuant the relevant data protection laws;•monitoring compliance with relevant laws and corporate policies in relation to the protection of personal data, including the assignment of responsibilities, awareness-raising and training of staff involved in processing operations and the related audits;• providing advice, where requested, as regards the data protection impact assessment and monitoring its performance;• cooperating with relevant supervisory authorities;•acting as the contact point for relevant supervisory authorities on issues concerning processing, including the prior consultation, and consulting, where appropriate, with regard to any other matter;•acting as the contact point for data subjects in the exercise of their rights;•other tasks and duties not in conflict of interest with the DPO role (including but not limited to keeping the Record of Processing Activities).
