As a trainee officer, my role was to learn legislation and garner skills required for my deployment to a busy and dangerous local policing area and thus included officer safety training and situational awareness.

In my capacity as a level 1 fundraiser, my job was to provide educational advice on safety around the coast to the general public, whilst also encouraging individuals to sign up to financial membership of the charity in order to support our efforts. My hard work culminated in me achieving a total of 454 signups against a target of 150, breaking the RNLI record and achieving roughly 350% of my summer target. This is something I have continued to do voluntarily.

As a senior fundraiser, my role was to lead, teach and motivate a small team of 20 throughout a season. This included pastoral care alongside my day to day tasks. The structural and organizational tasks alongside some strategic decisions were my responsibility so as to plan and execute a successful campaign. This included work and accommodation rotas, payroll logging and event management.

Within this role, I undertook many of the fundamentals of running a small business including HR, contract negotiations, contracting and conveyancing, account management and staffing issues alongside the longer term strategic requirements. I compiled business plans, sought new partners and streamlined existing practices in order to achieve an organic growth in the companies second year of trading. My work was instrumental in the onboarding of new key accounts and contracts in order to bolster our revenue stream, whilst also focusing on quality recruitment to match the increasing pipeline.

My role as a sales specialist required me to acquire, develop and manage a large client base so as to achieve a target oriented sales goal within the high and ultra high net worth travel industry.
