I was involved in manpower policy and workforce development initiatives to build a pipeline of skilled air transport workers for Singapore.• Launched and promoted industry adoption of the national Skills Framework for Air Transport for over 90 job roles and 130 skills• Shaped the development of pre-/continuing education programmes and work-study programs for the sector by advising education institutions on workforce and skill needs• Collaborated with government agencies to contextualise and implement SkillsFuture, Adapt & Grow, and SgIS initiatives for the sector• Identified critical jobs and skills for intervention by conducting industry-wide surveys and data analysis• End-to-end management of a portfolio of training grants, valued at $300k annually• Designed and implemented two new training grants to retain young workers and upskill mature workers• Achieved better governance of fund and timeliness of claims by improving grant administration processes• Deepened relations with unions by managing regular engagement sessions with NTUC and union leaders• Organized Aviation Community Reception (over 400 guests each) and Aviation Open House (over 40 exhibitors and 5,000 attendees each)
