RwandAir major achievements - Cardinal driver in the re-launching of the airline.- Initiated, formulated and implemented the company strategic and business plan- Acquisition of owned aircraft new and old: sourced, negotiated and arranged aircraft finance- Arranged Dry Lease acquisitions- On behalf of the Government, presented and negotiated and sold to the IMF team the critical importance of a vibrant airline in achieving the country vision 2020. Transaction ownership by formulating and preparing the sale of business “pitch book”, bids invitation and subsequent negotiations.- Negotiated the outsourced Authorized Maintenance Organizations(AMOs) – Lufthansa and SAAT- Financial Management:- Implementation of new versatile ERP Systems both Financial and Revenue Accounting- Implemented timely monthly management accounts with a current deadline of 10th of the subsequent month. The very detailed management accounts encompasses all the industry financial ratios i.e. route yields, cabin factors, available seats per Km, comparisons of actual, budget and prior year etc.- Statutory audits: - initial three years backlog covered and now two months after end of the financial year. Aviation Finance & Management Consultants major achievements - As a team leader structured, compiled and published an Aircraft Project Finance Manual and a Mining Project Manual for a leading South African Bank. The manual formulation was undertaken in Johannesburg and London. - Carried out various aircraft due diligence missions across Sub-Saharan Africa on behalf of a leading regional bank and a South African Bank.- Implemented two ERP systems for an airline and a leading Country Club.- Aircraft Project Finance presentations on behalf of Raytheon, Cessna and Pratt and Whitney- Consulted for KPMG – Kenya on aviation sector executive recruitment.
