Overall program manager duties which includes1. Leading the turnaround strategy, heading operations and leading business growth in the institution. 2. Re-aligning business processes towards achieving a lean but profitable operation structure. 3. Leading operations in areas credit, finance and business development to achieve optimal returns on capital. 4. Advice the Board of Directors on strategic and operation matters of the Society, 1.Carrying out day-to-day management decisions, planning, administration, coordination and evaluation of all functions of the Society. 2. Provide leadership in development, implementation and review of strategic initiatives to achieve business growth. 3.Provide technical advice and operational feedback to the Board of Directors and relevant sub-committees for effective decision making, 4. Ensure adequacy of policy framework, procedures, processes and systems to enhance Society’s competitiveness and effective risk management. 5. Ensure there are adequate controls to safe guard Sacco’s resources and assets. 6. Ensure the Society has adequate resources (Human, Financial and others) for efficient operations 7. Ensure timely implementation of the Board’s recommendations and resolutions. 8. Provide leadership to internal management team and ensuring synergy among the teams. 9. Ensure the Society has appropriate organizational structures for optimum utilization of Sacco’s resources and efficient operations. 10. Ensure the society has competent, motivated and productive staff. 11. Ensure compliance on any regulatory requirements in all areas (internal and external) of operations. 12.Ensure sound financial management and production of periodic financial statements 13. Ensure excellent customer care practices in order to achieve high customer satisfaction. 14. Implementation of Human Resources and Organizational Review.

Directing all operations of the society in line with the strategic plan. 1. Ensure compliance with the co-operative societies Act, SASRA, and society’s by-law. 2. Establishing adequate internal controls to ensure efficient operations and risk management. 3.Driving business growth and managing relationship management with payroll companies. 4. Staff development, supervision and capacity enhancement.5. Technical advice to the board on all management and operational issues.6. Preparation of books of accounts in liaison with finance department. 7. Management of stakeholders relations especially members, authorities and strategic partners. 8. Spearheading and Effective relocation to the Saccos own premises hence cutting down operation costs drastically.
