Roles and responsibilities.Contribute to the development of Country and women economic empowerment strategies.Support micro, small and medium enterprises to improve products and income through strengthening supply chain, support value chains, linkages and end markets.Overall coordination of beneficiary selection process; ensures there is a communication strategy with beneficiaries and functioning complaints mechanism in place for the resilience fund -both in-kind and loan support.Coordinate and manage resilience fund, VSLA and livelihoods project implementation using the value chain approach in line with proposals, strategies and donor requirements.Liaise with logistics, finance and other departments as appropriate to identify and plan the support needed for the implementation of the projects, advising on procurement needs as appropriate. Ensure the planning of cash transfers, skills development to beneficiaries, including advising on and adhering to standard operating procedures, and support learning and reflection forums of women supported under the resilience fund interventions.Provide technical support on women’s economic empowerment intervention planning and implementation, including business proposal development and technical guidance.Ensure budget management, develop work plans for the teams and follow up with progress on a daily basis and develop procurement plans and ensure all procurements are done in time.With support from the M&E specialist, lead on conducting market assessments, beneficiary assessment and verification, PDM surveys, and end line surveys and ensuring reporting tools are in place for daily tracking of activities, trainings and distributions. Lead in livelihoods related project proposal developing (including narrative, log frame, activity schedule and budget) for submission to donors, providing high quality project baselines, monitoring and evaluation information in terms of contents and professional presentation.
