Pre-Race Direction: Negotiate vendor contracts for scoring, timing, course entertainment, photography, aid stations, audio/visual, equipment, etc. Course design and consultation with local municipal officials, law enforcement and emergency services. Volunteer assignment break-down for recruitment and direction.Race Promotion: Coordinate application design/printing and distribution.  Complete USATF applications for Sanctioning and Grand Prix designation, as well as Championship bids.  Market race via all Eastern running websites. Develop materials for sponsorship and product donation solicitation. Coordinate print advertising and local press opportunities.Race Day: Manage all aspects of course and field set-up. Direct vendors, staff and volunteers for race execution.Post-Race Reporting:  Provide registration report for future marketing planning. Provide detailed vendor report for future logistical planning. Provide market analysis for sponsor fulfillment.

From conception to completion, produce highly organized events marked by originality and attention to detail. Responsibilities include: Produce events including timelines, schedules, volunteer and supply needs, and budgetary requirements. Manage development of all event collateral materials, including design concept, editing, and integration of programmatic elements, printing, and distribution of materials.  Promote events to targeted audiences and general public through advertising, press releases, social media, email and website. Oversee on-site logistics and staff members during all events. Conduct post-event follow-up and sponsor acknowledgments.

Responsible to plan, implement and manage a development program consistent with the agency’s mission:Sponsorship: Cultivate corporate sponsorship Produce annual sponsorship package for all scheduled events. Develop leads for sponsorship prospects and create a cultivation plan. Manage the sponsorship sales team with responsibility for all major sponsorship renewals and sales. Negotiate in-kind donations, and pro bono services through the sponsorship package. Ensure fulfillment to sponsor satisfaction.Individual & Corporate Giving Manage cultivation and acknowledgement process of individual and corporate gifts. Prospect research from within workplace campaigns. Oversee grant acknowledgement and reporting.
