With 15 years of dedicated Retail IT experience, I have honed my expertise across various banners within Massmart, including Rhino, Cambridge, Masscash, Builders, and Game. Throughout my career, I have not only accumulated an extensive knowledge base in the retail industry but have also played a pivotal role in guiding businesses through critical and complex system transitions & data migrations.My journey in the retail IT landscape has allowed me to build strong relationships with colleagues, IT service providers, and business partners across multiple functions, including Finance, Operations, Admin, Merchandising, and Planning. During my early years at Massmart, I led numerous Master Data migrations from legacy systems into a unified Master Data platform. Additionally, I played a key role in the successful transition to SAP ERP and the integration with their existing third-party Point of Sale System within Cambridge Food. My responsibilities extended to managing the Point of Sale system and overseeing the support function of the team.Fuelled by my passion for data and analytics, I ventured into the Business Intelligence stream, where I have been actively engaged in expanding my knowledge within the Reporting and Operational Analytics function. In my current role, I manage essential functions for Builders, including SAP BW, SAP Business Objects, SAP Analysis for Office, and the SAP Analytics Cloud visualization layer for Game.What motivates me is my unwavering commitment to achieving success in the service of others. I view problems and challenges as opportunities for personal growth and skill development.
