About Moshe Kaptowsky
From an early age, I knew I wanted to take part in social action and to help shape the future of the State of Israel. After being honorably discharged from the army, where I served as a helicopter pilot, I traveled the world for a year (including half a year on a bicycle!). On my return I decided to come back to Jerusalem, where I was born and raised.► The city of Jerusalem, where I studied my undergraduate and graduate studies, was also fertile ground for social action. Jerusalem, a microcosm of Israeli society, presents innumerable complex social problems, but also countless opportunities for change and growth.► Thanks to my extensive work in the city, I learned just how much patience, faith, effort and field work are required in order to successfully implement various projects, along with the importance of applying professional tools, devising clear strategic plans, setting goals and metrics for success and the ability to obtain the needed resources.► I believe that the basis for any successful project is its strong human capital.
