The role of Sustain Product Manager requires engagement with different company stakeholders:1. Product Ower: Requirements spec, Prioritization per next version content2. Delivery Management: release SW to GA (via Agile)3. R&D Crisis Manager upon having critical stoppers in production4. Escalating from production and declare a requirement for a Hot Fix.5. Daily interaction with cross company departments (Product Management, Delivery Team, Professional Services, Project Manager, Customer Experience). The success criteria in this role is to balance between reducing the pain of customers (following upgrades, bad UX design, bugs, missing features etc) while minimizing the interruptions to R&D original road map being delivered on time.As a Senior System Architect engaged in:1. RFI & RFP review before submission2. TRS (Technical Requirement Specification): both writing hands on & approving TRS written by R&D teams.3. Evaluating solutions based on off-the-shelf 3rd party SW & embedding into our in-house turn key solution.4. Planning and executing POC for new technologies

Background1. As strange as it may appear, after 14 years, the company has nominated for the 1st time a full time employee to server as its SW System Architect.2. The begining was demanding, introducing into the work flow of development life cycle this new position. While demanding, proved to be essnetial (trivial to say today, but required a lot of in house "massage").Thereafter1. Providng R&D TRS (Technical Requirement Specifications) based on input from other departments (whether marketing for features and bugs, support for bug fixes and in house utilities, or delivery team).2. In this position have exetrended my in depth knowledge of all back system componenets as well as the field devices having their protocol & behavior affecting the final products' usability.

1- Team leader of the Company's main backend team.2- Ownership and responsibility of the following: 2.A. Design, Develpoment and release of the following components of the backend: Windows Client Application Main Database Reporting Application (not BI) Maintenance scripts running on the main DB servers A set of business processes running on c executables on the DB OS Server. 2.B. On call for support: Responsibility to have R&D on call developers from all backend disciplines. 2.C. Intergation project In mid 2007 Elmotech completed the acquision of Protech LTD, a competitor in the Electronic Monitoring business. Following, I led the 1st integration process between R&D development teams in Tampa, Florida & Tel Aviv, Israel.

1- Company Profile: Elmotech, a leading company in providing "Electronic Monitroing Services" to governments worldwide for Monitoring people while: 1.A. On trial 1.B. During prison vacations 1.C. During the post imprisonment rehabilitation period2- Solution Scope: ElmoTech Provides a turn key solution (end-2-end) for the Electronic Monitoring industry. Customers are governmental authorities, working directly with the countries DoJ or via local partners. Provided solution inducludes fields devices, full backend, physical HW cabinet to host the solution. These affect the scope of required knowledge base from the teams.3- Job included: 3.A. End-2-end hands on development of windows applicaiton, applciation reports, databases, maintenance scripts over solrais etc. 3.B. Reports - analyizing reports needs and developing reports (NOT BI) 3.C. Support to Delivery Teams: During 1st installations, upgrades, and 'on call' for any backend issues related to the applicaiton, database or workflow 3.D. Visits to production sites providing hands on support to complex installations, learning from customers how they operate the Control Monitoring Centre, and getting to know the market more thoroughly. 4- Company has been renamed over the years following acquisitions.

1-Worked for a short period (~7 month) in Amdocs as a Windows Application Engineer. 2-Part of the "MCP" division, serving one of the US customers.3-During this short period visited a few times the division's customer in Saint Louis both to learn how a production environement works & to take part in a big upgrade of new application utitilies serving backend users.
