For over two decades, I have been helping people unlock their potential to negotiate more effectively, communicate more skillfully, lead more purposefully, and manage conflict more artfully. My book, Collywobbles: How to Negotiate When Negotiating Makes You Nervous, combines negotiation with emotional intelligence to help you overcome emotional barriers, apply your skills, and become a more effective negotiator.I’ve been helping people improve their skills since 1995 when I founded The Negotiating Table and have been teaching at Boston University's Questrom School of Business since 2000. Since 1995, I have been teaching, mediating, coaching, writing, and speaking on the topics of negotiation, leadership, change management, influence, conflict resolution, mediation, facilitation, and communication. I have worked with companies and organizations in the Boston area, nationally, and internationally. As a mediator, I have mediated hundreds of matters ranging from multimillion-dollar business and family business cases to roommate conflicts, workplace matters, through courts and community mediation programs, government agencies, and in private practice. I also coach executives, managers, and others to help them become more effective in their work or to help them negotiate better outcomes for themselves. Aside from teaching, training, mediating, and coaching, I love to write, and have written numerous articles and role-play cases, and my first book, Collywobbles: How to Negotiate When Negotiating Makes You Nervous.
