Experienced language teacher (ESOL and ELA) with a strong educational background - degrees in Psychology, Education, and Languages, as well as an MA in Philosophy of Language. Cambridge oral examiner for CAE and CPE, and qualified IELTS invigilator. Relevant history of entrepreneurship, having part-owned an educational travel company for 10 years. Strong interest in Ancient History and Archaeology, with a Certificate of Egyptology from the University of Manchester, UK.Currently, I teach 4- and 5-points English, as well as native English speakers, at Mosenson Youth Village, in Hod HaSharon, Central Israel. I am also currently on the MA in English Literature programme at Bar Ilan University, in Central Israel, doing research on epistemology and its connections with 19th century English literature.In the past, I have taught the IB Diploma Programme at Escola Bilíngue Pueri Domus, as well as the Dual Diploma Program at Colégio Dante Alighieri, in São Paulo, Brazil. I also contributed to the planning and implementation of the IB Diploma Programme at the Mae Boyar International School in Jerusalem, Israel. Previous experience includes full time positions with Cultura Inglesa, Beacon School and Yeshiva Or Torah, all in São Paulo, Brazil.Recently, I was on the undergraduate research programme at Universidade Cruzeiro do Sul, in São Paulo, Brazil, first investigating the legal aspects of teacher training and qualification in bilingual education in Brazil, then looking more deeply at the cognitive aspects of employing formulaic language in second language acquisition.
