Moshe Gurfinkel is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Bioelectronics (BEL) at the Centre Microélectronique de Provence of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Saint Etienne. He received his BSc in Electrical Engineering in 2003, MSc in Physical Electronics in 2005, both cum laude, Tel Aviv University. Mr. Gurfinkel spent the first two years of his PhD studies as an associate researcher in the Engineering Department at the University of Maryland. During this stay, he was assigned as a guest researcher in the CMOS and Novel Devices Group at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). At NIST, he was in charge of the semiconductor reliability laboratory. His graduate work was on reliability physics of advanced microelectronic devices, in particular high-κ transistors (for high performance / low power applications) and SiC transistors (for high power applications). Mr. Gurfinkel is one of the founders of Ormash Holdings Ltd., an Israeli company which designs and installs small and large scale photovoltaic solar systems. Mr. Gurfinkel is currently supported by a Marie Curie Intra European Fellowship (IEF) for post doctorals.
