After acquiring a Kodak camera in the mid eighties I developed a love for photography and in addition to many other subjects I started taking photos of bands that I went to see... .In 1990 I bought my first SLR camera and after a few false starts, mainly due to people (ie: thieves) thinking they needed my gear more than I did... I practiced, got more serious and studied photography...This developed into a consuming passion that I further incorporated with my love of music and over time I have been a contributor to various magazines and websites on a regular basis whilst also carrying out freelance work for clients.I have earned myself a solid reputation for my work as a photographer within the rock/punk/metal scenes in Australia and love supporting my local scene in addition to capturing visiting international acts.I have also been part of several group exhibitions over time with most of my work shown being taken with various "alternative" cameras including Lomo, Holga, pinhole and panorama film cameras.
