I am Kelsey Moslow, a fourth year architecture student at Wentworth Institute of Technology. I'm originally from Buffalo NY so moving to Boston for school has been a great experience. I am so thankful that I get to learn architecture in such a dynamic city! My college experience has allowed me to learn about topics that I deeply enjoy, and I am eager to learn even more. In high school I was the "photoshop kid," I love pushing digital tools to their limit to create images that are both beautiful and are able to clearly communicate an idea. However I'm not a "digital is supreme" person. In fact, I have come very far in my ability to hand draft and sketch, which makes me thrilled that I can communicate with both digital and physical images. The most important skill I possess in my opinion is the ability to work well with a group of people. My first year most of our projects were done solo, but in my second year my classmates and I had to hit the ground running with multiple group projects. The big test of my teamwork was a recent precedent study contest that my group and I placed second in. I don't think that my part in this group singlehandedly made us successful, but being able to work well with everybody definitely allowed us to bypass a lot of the issues that other groups were having and I praise my groupmates for working well with me too. I am excited for the future!
