Accountable for the product roadmap, corporate strategy, market analysis, customer collaboration, end-to-end user experience, external partnerships, and documentation. DTCC’s Institutional Trade Processing business unit (formerly Omgeo) is the world’s premiere pre- and post-trade services suite, used by 6,000 financial institutions in 52 countries.Led a globally-distributed team of product managers, product owners, and business analysts engaged in squad-based, agile software development. Accountable for strategy, execution, and business results for ITP Platform Services including:• Client Connectivity & Message APIs – Led a multi-year effort to transform customer-facing APIs (FIX, MQ-based XML, and SFTP Batch) by migrating common interfaces to the modular “north star” reference architecture and simplifying/accelerating client customization abilities.• Shared Services – Led a multi-year effort to modernize technology and core capabilities of common data services while simultaneously driving organizational change to more seamlessly adapt to shifting customer and stakeholder requirements.Team mission was to maximize customer satisfaction/adoption while minimizing delivery costs and modernizing ITP’s technology portfolio. Met frequently with external and internal customers to form qualitative and quantitative insights into their needs. Collaborated with leaders across DTCC to shape high-level product and technology strategy.

Hybrid product and engineering lead reporting to the CTO. Managed a vertical of 20 to 25 tech leads, business analysts, developers, and QA engineers across three high-performing, agile teams with an annual budget exceeding $10M. Product areas included Equities Trading Technology (Trading Desk, Sales, Quant, Compliance, and Production Support applications for electronic trading across 40+ markets), Back Office Technology (clearing/settlement and risk management applications), and Regulatory/Compliance Technology (global regulatory obligations including OATS and FCA/ESMA transaction reporting).In addition to team-specific activities, directed cross-team roadmap planning on both a yearly and periodic (every four months) basis. Drove organizational efficiencies to reduce testing and level 3 support costs while providing the foundation for more frequent releases with fewer production incidents over time. Met frequently with Liquidnet’s CEO and senior leadership to refine product offerings and shape the corporate technology strategy.

After successfully integrating Liquidnet’s algorithmic and block trading systems, pivoted to business analysis role to lead team of five business analysts across all product lines, as well as coordinating QA activities across roughly 20 test engineers. Primarily focused on Liquidnet’s low-latency algorithmic trading offerings and associated FIX specification. Worked closely with the Quant team to specify, document, and deploy trading algos on a fast-paced schedule – typically two packages released each week requiring complex management of test, experimental, and production algos.

Following Liquidnet’s acquisition of Miletus Trading in 2007, promoted to manage team of six engineers building Linux-based C++ algorithmic trading engine, order management system, Microsoft SQL Server database, and underlying analytics platform. Primary mission was to integrate the new algo trading system with Liquidnet’s core equities block trading system.

Hands-on C++ and PL/SQL engineer building Liquidnet’s leading-edge clearing platform, Trade Management Suite, as well as production support tools and core C++ libraries.
