The CRO Neurix provides in vitro drug screening services through the use of three-dimensional neural models derived from human pluripotent stem cells. Neurix offers preclinical tests in the field of neuroscience with animal-free methods.My duties included the general management of the startup, business development, management of research programs and leading customer projects with a focus on therapy efficacy and neuro-degenerative diseases.

I aimed at developing a new in vitro diagnostic tool which detects the wrong localization of proteins in cells of diseased patients. With my associates we designed the project, I built partnerships with the startup incubators Geneus and Eclosion. I successfully pitched the business model and obtained financing & laboratory facilities for proof of concept. The project got discontinued due to unsuited market fit.
