I'm a Television Instructor in the Broadcast and Media Communications program at BCIT. I also consult on TV production and Post Production.I've worked for years in TV broadcasting and Video Production, first as a technician and later as a Manager of Post Production for CBC Television in Vancouver.I have a drive to inform. One of the most gratifying aspects of my consulting gigs happens when I educate clients on the processes for successful TV and web productions. I carry that same gratification into my teaching. Working with the students I explore ways to make them understand how to make better video. And as always, I learn something in the process.Part of my personal toolkit is the ready ability to troubleshoot problems. To that end, I spend my time studying how things tick and how processes function.I'm good with people, have experience managing teams, and I am also a solid team member. I have worked in live (on air) environments and understand the pressures and punctuality needed in those situations. Specialties: Video and Audio Post production supervision, planning and technology. TV Broadcasting, Broadcast Graphic design technology, HTDV, Broadcast Transmission systems, Video editing.
