Focal point for providing technical guidance, team support on product and program definition, as well as contributing to continuous improvement in product development processes from conceptualization to validation and certification.My main responsibilities are:- Coordination of cross functional engineering teams to meet products CTQs in accordance with business metrics providing wind turbine system expertise through all phases of product development, from requirements definition through design, development and product life-cycle support- Engineering focal point for technical support during product validation test campaigns and certification process with third parties- Oversee system conceptual design studies and trade-offs that address product CTQs such as cost, power performance, noise, reliability & operability- Establish design strategies, contribute to multi-generation system and technology plans in conjunction with Platform and Sub-system Managers- Effectively communicate and provide recommendations through analysis, preparation, and presentation of technical material to internal and external audiences- Guide simplification and standardization of best practices into engineering analyses, validation, and design execution- Steer implementation of control technologies to mitigate mechanical loads & improve turbine power performance targeting LCOE reduction Show less
