I'm a strong believer in the power of passion and creative ideas in shaping the way ahead.My adventures took me from working as a systems engineer in the US to starting my own business in Egypt. I've seen successes and failures, learned a great deal, became a lot wiser, while still passionate and naturally innovative.I started an MSc research inspired venture aiming to provide a platform for improving planning decisions. That venture did not materialize into a company; However, it was transformed into a government position as the Egyptian Deputy Minister of Planning! And it was assimilated into various government systems that target the improvement of government operations. Major projects were pushed and facilitated: data exchange systems, payment systems automation, building detailed databases for all buildings (43 million records) and Agricultural Holdings (6 million records) with the objective of enabling vertical services and financial applications for the stakeholders.I tend to find ways of simplifying complex systems, tackle major initiatives with creative ideas, listen to my team, learn from global best practices, and Deliver despite all the odds.A key takeaway: no challenge is too big, bring it on!
