CurrentOur team is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of the control systems and instrumentation equipment for gas turbines, high-pressure steam units, air treatment units, water treatment units, 12X fan cooling tower and storage tanks & vessels.While fulfilling my responsibilities in this position, I accomplished:• Hands-on experience… - Monitoring and diagnosing DCS, PLC and SIS systems including (Honeywell C300 and Experion PKS R511.5, Honeywell Safety Manager FC-QPP-0002/R151 and Siemens S7-400H, PCS7, SIMATIC Step 7 and SGT-800) as well as HART, Modbus, Profibus and EtherNET/IP connections and protocols. - Monitoring and repairing various manufacturers of sensors, transmitters, valves, actuators, pumps, switches and gauges including (Rosemount, KROHNE, Bentley Nevada, Fisher, Emerson, Bray, ITT, Valvitalia, ABB, Yokogawa, Samson, Endress+Hauser, PulsaFeeder, Wika, Ashcroft, Mid-west, etc.). - Well-versed in industry codes and standards (IEEE, ANSI, NEMA, IP, IECEx, ATEX).• Programmed logic, ladder diagrams, function blocks, HMIs, alarms, events and logs; assigned points, channels, I/O cards and controllers; configured servers and pc stations.• Oversaw multiple installation procedures involving calibration, fittings, enclosures, wiring, marshaling and loop checks.• Interpreted, checked & updated plants technical documents & schematics including wiring diagrams, hook-up drawings, P&ID’s and datasheets.• Was responsible for assets storage & management and material requisitions.• Issued and collaborated on permits and risk assessments & analysis including HAZOP studies.• Planned and executed plant modifications & revamps within allocated budgets & timelines.• Implemented preventive & corrective maintenance measures and oversaw plant maintenance shutdowns.• Planned and coordinated with cross-functional teams & disciplines including vendors and contractors.• Provided training and coaching to newly on boarded staff.
