I am a chartered engineer with 15 years of experience in the wet utilities and infrastructure industry in the MENA & Gulf regions. I have solid experience as a project manager and design manager in delivering projects, programs & PPP initiatives during the whole life cycle from inception to closing.I am currently heading the design/engineering department at Elsewedy Electric | Infrastructure, and leading a diverse team of more than 40 engineers with different disciplines and specialties to deliver BIM-based water, sewerage, hydrology, drainage, pressure networks, pumping stations, tunnels, dry utilities, roads, canals, treatment process, and RO desalination projects during the different execution stages. This incorporates all engineering disciplines such as civil, architectural, MEP and I&C. I developed a mature career path through working in diverse employment environments such as international design consultancy firms, PMC firms, governmental authorities, and tier 1 contractors.I was a committee member that established the Egyptian code of practice for Rural Sanitation Technologies. An author of several publications having numerous citations in the water and environmental infrastructure field issued in internationally recognized journals.
