About Mostafa El-Mogy, Ph.D., P.Eng.

I'm a passionate structural engineer and a university assistant professor with over 19 years of experience in the design of complex structures and high-rise buildings. I'm a registered professional engineer in Canada with a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from the University of Manitoba. My expertise includes reinforced concrete, post-tensioned concrete, structural steel, masonry, and wood-frame construction. I'm proficient in full-scale structural testing, rehabilitation, and finite element analysis. I've led the design of several high-rise buildings that have received recognition for their innovative structural design. I'm also an active researcher and have published my work in multiple peer-reviewed journals and international conferences. I have extensive experience teaching university courses including structural analysis, structural design, and solid mechanics.
