Writer / ProducerHbo Aug 2024 - Sep 2024Los Angeles, California, United StatesFor THE OFFICIAL PENGUIN PODCAST - wrote the paper cut for the Main Trailer, chose all the bytes from the show and wrote all the copy; in essence I had to define what the show was “about” from a critical perspective. Then I wrote the Intros and Outros for every episode, which in turn defined what each episode was “about” - really about, not just a plot synopsis.I did a good deal more writing for the Pod, researching questions and conversation prompts, sometimes IM-ing pick-ups to the Producer live while recording. What could have just been a marketing podcast is I believe a real companion to a very heavy show. People get affected by THE PENGUIN and seek this material out to help make sense of what they’ve seen and what they’re feeling. -
