• Leading the competitive analysis/intelligence group for Check Point’s security portfolio • Tracking data on our competitors, preparing hard-hitting competitive materials for Check Point sales force, helping our sales force respond to competitive situations and creating effective marketing programs to highlight our competitive differentiation• Educating and helping our sales force to better understand competitors offerings and how to respond to competitive situations• Proactively gather information on competing products, including detailed functionality and release dates to understand, confirm and authoritatively negate competitors claims via documentation and Hands-ON testing• Work with Business Development to identify the most compelling vendors for potential partnerships and M&A as well as competitive benchmark due-diligence for M&A candidates• Work with Product Organization (R&D, product managers, QA ) to identify the most compelling competitive differentiation for our products & most compelling features on competitive products• Work cross-functionally to ensure competitive information and positioning for all products and solutions in our core business, and own the process of responding quickly to maximize opportunities with press/analysts/customers • Track, report, and influence analysts (Gartner, IDC ) market share reports; track our competitors, their products, their go-to-market strategies and their financial and market performance • Publish competitive reports and competitive positioning in response to news from competitors• Competitive Video production from creative, directing, shooting, and post editing

The Cyber Threat Alliance (CTA) is a group of cybersecurity practitioners from organizations that have chosen to work together in good faith to share threat information for the purpose of improving defenses against advanced cyber adversaries across member organizations and their customers.*The CTA incorporated as a not-for-profit in January 2017 and appointed Michael Daniel as its first President in February. Daniel was formerly Special Assistant to the President and Cybersecurity Coordinator for the White House.*The CTA’s inaugural Board of Directors includes the CEOs and senior leadership of six major cybersecurity vendors: Check Point, Cisco, Fortinet, Intel Security, Palo Alto Networks and Symantec.*The CTA outlines its corporate purpose as a not-for-profit: to share threat information in order to improve defenses against cyber adversaries across member organizations and protect customers; to advance the cybersecurity of critical IT infrastructures; and to increase the security, availability, integrity and efficiency of information systems.*The first CTA project as a standalone entity is the development and rollout of a new, automated threat intelligence-sharing platform that enables Members to integrate real-time, actionable intelligence into their products to better protect global customers.
