** Health Data Connectivity and Digital Tools** My ambition is to contribute to mobilising health data in order to fight disease and improve health outcomes. Put simply this involves innovating products and services that, ‘Get Data – Use Data – Share Data’. To this end I concentrate my efforts in the following two domains:1 – Development of products, platforms and services to enable medical diagnostic device manufacturers to achieve connectivity, interoperability, and deliver value added data services including, device management, middleware integration and business intelligence 2- Healthcare transformation and connected health service development, through the innovation of digital tools exploiting connectivity, interoperability and mobile technologies, aimed at infectious disease management and AMR surveillance, and targeted for use in Low Middle Income Countries (LMIC)** Diagnostics matter **The delivery of timely, accurate and complete diagnostic data to multiple stakeholders (i.e. patients, clinicians, lab managers and researchers) is at the core of treatment decisions, disease management and addressing the challenges of universal health coverage. Enabling connectivity in diagnostic instruments is complex and common mistakes are easily made and often costly to correct. Meanwhile the benefits to manufacturers and healthcare providers alike is often underrepresented or overlooked completely. To this end I have co-founded, and am helping to grow, Connected-Dx Ltd, to advocate for connected diagnostics and provide manufacturers with tools and services, including OTAMS (CDx’s over-the-air device management platform), to accelerate implementation of connectivity.** Digital Health Tools for LMIC’s; **Technology stands to dramatically improve the provision of healthcare across the globe, however there are many barriers that threaten those living in resource limited settings, from realising these benefits. I specialise in overcoming these challenges through delivery of functional services and sustainable operations. I have successfully delivered projects in numerous LMIC countries. My motivation is to ensure that, the people who most stand to benefit from emerging health technologies, are not the ones left behind. To this end I founded The Software for Health Foundation to develop, implement and maintain opensource digital health tools, and to advocate for data mobilisation. I also established the AOS initiative focussed on using opensource tools to deliver AMR One Health Surveillance.
