I am a technologist and serial entrepreneur with a history of building successful technology products, engineering teams, and startup companies.To keep abreast of new technologies, I continue to write code every day. Often my role within a project is that of a rock-star software engineer. Occasionally, I will take on a leadership role whenever a project requires a leader with a solid track record of results-driven processes and building high performing technology products and teams.I am highly active in the entrepreneurial community. Several of the more recent startups that I have worked with include MethodSense, WebAssign, BeeWell, MarginFactor and Broadvine.I was a co-founder and CTO of StrikeIron, which sold to Informatica in 2014. I also co-founded and served as the CTO of Covelight Systems, a security technology company that was sold to Radware in 2007. Prior to Covelight, I co-founded and was the CEO of GadgetSpace, a wireless application infrastructure company founded in 1999 and sold to InPhonic in 2001. I co-founded and served on the board of Field2Base, a mobile data capture and delivery company.Prior to my days of founding startups, I was the Director of Business Development for HAHT Software, the Director of Software Development for Relativity Technologies, held senior software engineering positions at Versata and developed products for Q+E Software, which were included in the Microsoft Office Suite.I also invest in non-technology ventures as well: Social House Vodka, Piedmont Restaurant and Zely & Ritz Restaurant.
