About Mouhamad A. Naboulsi

I was born in Beirut, Lebanon to a mixed Arab and African heritage. I left Lebanon to Syria, Canada and the U.S. in 1976 where I settled in Michigan and worked in the auto industry since 1977. I obtained my education from Wayne County College, Henry Ford College and Wayne State University in Greater Detroit, Michigan.While in school, I put a Commodore 64 PC in 1973 Oldsmobile Cutlass and wrote a navigation software to control vehicle accessories, a navigation software and 3 hot buttons to help locate/call Gas stations, Police stations and Hospitals. (I still have a copy on a 5 1/4" that crashes after the first screen when I run it on Commodore 128). Coincidentally, while visiting a friend of mine that worked for Hughes and then GM and was employee #5 on OnStar told me that they started OnStar around the same time I did my system. Of Course they used GPS and I used a tire/odometer sensorWhile working for leading foreign and national automotive OEM and suppliers, I refined my skills and intuitions to focus on Human Factor issues, whether they related to Manufacturing Technology or Human Behavior, Customer Satisfaction and Concerns from Warranty numbers and J.D. Power, etc..After couple of false starts '85, '94, and '97-'98, I had a good momentum in 2000 and since then I have been focused on Intellectual Property development to alleviate Driver Distraction and reduce Driver Workload while enabling full and Safer Connectivity and Contents access by the Driver.Currently, My partners (ACT-IP LLC) and I are seeking capital to commercialize patents for an aftermarket Driver Distraction Mitigation solution.ACT-IP LLC have about a dozen granted and pending patents with more in the pipeline. Specialties: Intellectual property development in Automotive / Factory automation / Driver Distraction Mitigation / Fleet Safety / Law-Etiquette Driving Enforcement
