The project involved migration of Misys EMR customers in an efficient manner to the stimulus ready Pro EHR platform for Allscripts to retain its customer base as well as the associated annuity revenues. The Migration project is to enable the existing MEMR customers to qualify for applicable stimulus funds available pursuant to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009(ARRA) within the timelines within ARRA. It manages & controls UEC (Upgrade Enablement Centre) to perform the migration of customers from Misys EMR to Pro EHR with assistance from Allscripts. The Data Migration team in UEC handles simplex to complex migrations to extract the data from existing MEMR application and import it to Pro EHR application. The UEC MEMR Migration SteadyState project is very critical as Misys EMR, an Allscripts EMR product used by 1800+ physicians and practices. Following activities was performed as part of this project:• Gather data necessary to accomplish analysis from a number of sources; consolidate it in prearranged format and enter the data in several data analysis software.• Proficient in using different applications used by Allscripts such as Clarity, Sales force & Enexity.• Used SQL Server 2008 & SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for data analysis, debugging & coding.• Checking for prerequisites in client site (Pro-EHR, Migration wizard, SQL Server 2008, SSIS, BIDS, Hot fix Installation & AIE Installation).• Interaction with the onshore team for the requirement clarifications, participated in Code Walkthrough.• Clinical Content Loading and Pre configurations, Test & Live migrations.• Doing Error Analysis in the prescribed template after each steps of migration is completed.
