Dr. Louhaichi has earned a PhD and a Master of Science in Landscape Ecology from Oregon State University (USA). Both degrees were earned with honors. He has also obtained a PhD. Minor in Earth Information Science and Technology and a MS Minor in Statistics. During the 1995/96 academic year, he was awarded a Hubert Humphrey Fellowship to attend Cornell University (NY, USA) with focus on geospatial technologies. He is active in several international networks and platforms.Dr. Louhaichi has extensive experience and knowledge in sustainable natural resources management, agricultural technology, and international agricultural research and development aimed at reducing food insecurity, poverty, and environmental degradation in developing countries.
